Competing in Formula SAE requires an extraordinary amount of resources. As a team, we are primarily responsible for purchasing vehicle components and materials, along with all necessary tools. However, we incur other miscellaneous expenses such as registration fees for competition and travel related costs including team transportation and lodging related to competition as well.
Our team is funded primarily through the gracious contributions made by our partners and sponsors. Their support and generosity continue to enable our team’s growth and success.

From a business perspective, SAE International is recognized as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization under IRS tax code, which means all donations are tax deductible.
